This embosser is most often positioned at the bottom of the page for use on book pages. It can also be on top for a sheet of stationery. (The plate is not interchangeable and is not able to be used for both). Please indicate Top OR Bottom. The reach into a page is appx. 1 inch from the edge of the page.
